Job Summary
Manage the finance function for a mid-sized, complex business, developing and leading planning, design, implementation, and delivery of finance initiatives across the organization. Gathers financial data to perform analyses and reporting that influence business decisions and drive cross-business initiatives, while driving the forecasting process to ensure alignment with corporate objectives. Consults with SVP and VP level business leaders to drive strategic decision-making, oversees key controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and legal requirements, and manages large external vendor relationships. Leads process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function, ensuring financial strategies are integrated with corporate and business strategies. Works onsite at an HPE office.
Required Qualifications
- First level university degree with a focus in business or economics
- 12+ years of experience in a finance function
- Exceptionally strong background in some other relevant and applicable area of business
- 4+ years of people management experience
- Superior ability to provide finance consultation to senior managers within area of expertise
- Superior understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
- Excellent project management and prioritization skills
- Excellent people management skills, including managing teams across geographies
- Ability to build partnerships across functions
- Excellent communication skills catered to a wide variety of audiences
- Strong leadership and staff development skills
- Excellent consulting, influence, and negotiation skills
- Onsite work from an HPE office
