Job Summary
Senior leadership role directing Micron’s MU Ventures fund with responsibility for strategy, portfolio construction, deployment pacing, and exit planning across AI/semiconductor-focused investments. Requires a Master’s degree and 15+ years in venture capital or corporate development, including at least 5 years in senior fund leadership, a track record of successful investments and exits, and deep expertise in AI/ML, semiconductor ecosystems, and the hardware-software stack. Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, Business administration, or related field
- 15+ years of experience in venture capital, corporate venture capital, growth investing, or corporate development
- at least 5 years in senior fund leadership roles
- consistent track record of successful investments and exits with financial and measurable strategic outcomes
- experience leading or shaping the strategy of a $100M+ venture fund, including portfolio construction, deployment pacing, reserve strategy, and exit planning
- extensive network across premier venture firms, founders, universities, accelerators, and frontier AI and semiconductor communities
- proven ability to build and lead high-performing investment teams and focused investment processes
- deep expertise in AI/ML, semiconductor ecosystems, advanced compute infrastructure, and the evolving hardware-software stack
- exceptional executive presence, communication skills, and judgment in high-stakes internal and external settings
