Job Summary
Sr. Director of Marketing for Avantor Production Chemicals Portfolio leads demand generation and market strategy to drive growth for brands like JT Baker®. Partners with Product Management, Sales, and Regional Marketing to align campaigns, launches, and customer engagement. Responsible for developing and executing go-to-market plans, ABM-driven demand, and VOC programs to translate customer insights into actionable marketing initiatives. Owns brand messaging across channels, designs and tracks marketing effectiveness (lead quality, conversion rates, ROI, pipeline impact), and ensures data quality and campaign integration across regions. Must excel in cross-functional collaboration, launch execution, and delivering measurable business results in B2B life sciences or chemical industries. Knowledge of CRM/marketing automation tools (e.g., C4C, Salesforce) and analytics, with a strong emphasis on content strategy, digital campaigns, events, and demand generation. Education and experience emphasize strategic leadership, go-to-market planning, product launches, and brand management with the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related technical field required
- Master’s degree or MBA preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in life sciences/biotech/industrial sectors
- Proven experience in demand generation, digital marketing, and ABM programs
- Strong collaboration and influence in a matrixed organization
