Job Summary
Senior International Development Director to lead Come and See’s international fundraising efforts, managing a portfolio of 125+ international major-gift supporters and prospects to generate $5M+ in annual philanthropic revenue. You’ll cultivate and steward donors across Western Europe, Asia-Pacific, South Africa, and Canada, partnering with the Chief Development Officer, Global Ambassadors, and Global Distribution teams to convert strategic introductions into lasting philanthropic partnerships. Responsibilities include donor solicitation, portfolio stewardship, moves-management planning, and coordinating strategic asks with executive leadership, board involvement, and ministry partners. Travel internationally with a focus on donor engagement across regions, delivering donor-centric engagement strategies and scalable fundraising playbooks. The role requires a proactive, relationship-driven professional who can build trusted relationships, handle complex stewardship, and align fundraising strategy with international ministry priorities, while maintaining strong communication across Development, Marketing, and Global Distribution teams.
Required Qualifications
- 7–10+ years of direct major-gift fundraising
- Demonstrated success in international major-gift fundraising
- Experience in nonprofit, faith-based, or mission-driven organizational development
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly relational with ability to engage supporters across diverse cultures and geographies
- Proven ability to build and execute donor-centric moves-management strategies
- Willingness to travel internationally on a frequent basis
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with globally mobile families, international family foundations, and international philanthropists.
- Experience supporting or building international fundraising initiatives.
- Experience within faith-based, ministry, or mission-driven organizations.
