Job Summary
Sr. Director, Intellectual Property Dispute Resolution at J.S. Held leads daily management of litigation engagements within the Financial Experts practice. Responsibilities include creating complex financial models, writing reports and presentations, directing analyst efforts, critiquing opposing parties' claims, synthesizing financial and business documents, managing projects, training analysts, supporting practice development, and identifying new business opportunities. Requires advanced degrees (Bachelor’s or Master’s in finance/accounting/economics), 8+ years in litigation consulting or IP valuation, professional credentials (CPA/CFA preferred), strong client presence, and proficient MS Word/Excel skills; travel as needed. Flexible remote work environment offered. Salary range is $180,000–$205,000 depending on experience and location.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's concentrating in finance, accounting, business or economics from a highly regarded program
- 8 plus years of litigation consulting or intellectual property valuation experience
- CPA/CFA preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience managing team members
- Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
- Superior attention to detail
- Ability to travel as needed
