Job Summary
Sr. Director, Industry Alliances – National Security & Resiliency leads new revenue growth by sourcing, developing, and closing corporate and government partnerships in defense, dual-use, and energy resiliency. Drive multi-year partnerships, build a prospect pipeline, and establish MassChallenge’s point of view in national security and innovation ecosystems. Role emphasizes consultative selling, thought leadership, external presence, strategic account development, and collaboration with the S&R team to expand relationships and advance innovation. Requires a builder mentality, ability to craft proposals, attend conferences, maintain CRM records (HubSpot), and operate in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. Education: Bachelor's degree required; MBA strongly preferred; 10+ years in military/intelligence and business with a proven revenue-closure track record.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- MBA strongly preferred
- Minimum 10+ years of combined experience in military/intelligence and business
- proven results in closing new revenue opportunities
- business development experience in a highly-consultative sales process
- DoW or military/intelligence background, with a subsequent private sector arc
- sufficient technical fluency to engage credibly with founders and defense primes
- highly networked within national security/military, dual-use, or energy ecosystems
