Job Summary
Senior Director, Global Trade Compliance will own and drive end-to-end global trade compliance strategy across diverse markets, setting standards, and enabling compliant cross-border operations. Lead governance, controls, risk management, and digitalisation of trade compliance processes; build and coach the Global Trade Compliance team; partner with Operations, Legal, Finance, and Commercial to enable business growth while ensuring regulatory conformity. Role requires senior leadership experience, deep knowledge of customs, import/export controls, sanctions, and FTAs, and the ability to engage regulators and external partners. Hybrid working model in the UK (Watford) with cross-functional collaboration to support market entries, product launches, and supply chain transformations.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years experience in global trade compliance within a multinational environment
- Strong knowledge of customs, import/export controls, sanctions, FTAs, and global trade regulations
- Experience leading regional or global compliance programs and managing regulatory risk at scale
- Experience operating at senior leadership level
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage regulators, external partners, and internal executives
