Sr. Director, Enterprise Applications

Job Summary
Own the multi-year strategy and execution for JD Power's enterprise application portfolio, leading the quote-to-cash transformation across Salesforce, NetSuite, and Coupa. Drive day-to-day delivery of business system initiatives, including implementations, integrations, and modernization of core processes like procure-to-pay and record-to-report. Establish architectural standards, govern security and DevOps maturity, and manage vendor relationships while building and leading teams of architects, developers, and analysts. Partner directly with executive stakeholders to translate business priorities into measurable outcomes and ensure data accuracy across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years in enterprise technology, enterprise applications, or business systems
- 5+ years leading application platform teams at the Director level or above
- Demonstrated experience scaling Salesforce orgs in high–growth environments
- Experience with CPQ and Billing in production
- Track record of leading quote–to–cash transformations end to end
- Hands–on experience across enterprise SaaS platforms beyond Salesforce
- Experience with NetSuite (ERP/financials)
- Experience with Coupa (procurement and spend)
- Experience with HR/HCM systems (e.g., Workday)
- Proven track record of leading implementations, integrations, and system improvements
- Strong expertise in integrations, APIs, event–driven patterns, and data flows across cloud–based environments
- Experience with Azure
- Experience with AWS
- Track record of building and managing teams of architects, developers, administrators, and analysts
- Experience managing managers
- Experience owning multi–million–dollar platform budgets
- Experience with vendor negotiations
- Experience with SI partner relationships
- Experience with RFP/RFI processes
- Experience with cost/benefit analysis
- Experience defining application strategy in multi–entity or post–acquisition environments
- Experience in private equity–backed or high–growth environments
- Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience partnering with C–suite and SVP–level Finance and GTM stakeholders
- Experience in data–intensive or analytics–driven businesses
- Experience in automotive sectors
- Experience in financial services sectors
- Experience in information services sectors
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
