Job Summary
Champion the vision and direction for the cloud data plane, optimizing it for AI traffic and modern distributed applications while ensuring high availability and scalability. Operate and scale multiple cloud services, managing distributed systems to meet robust performance, security, and reliability benchmarks. Define a strategic framework that fosters sustainable engineering growth and revolutionize processes by identifying bottlenecks to introduce automation tools for seamless coordination. Collaborate cross-functionally with product and design leaders to align engineering direction with delivery milestones, while overseeing investments in CI/CD pipelines and project management systems. Set KPIs to drive data-informed strategic decisions and nurture leadership within teams to build a high-performance culture. Lead resource management to deploy teams effectively across global geographies and time zones.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience scaling and leading engineering teams with hands-on success in distributed, global organizations
- Proven experience running a cloud service including addressing performance, reliability, and security at scale
- Proven experience working with cloud services AWS, Azure, GCP and designing architectures that support cutting-edge AI traffic workflows and modern application demands
- A deep understanding of cloud data planes for delivering scalable, high-performance solutions to drive AI-powered applications
- Exceptional collaboration and stakeholder management prowess
- Your ability to build trust, influence, and culture makes you a builder of teams that collaborate, innovate, and win
- Hybrid: Employees within 30 commutable miles of an F5 office are required to work from the office a minimum of 30 business days per quarter
