Job Summary
Lead enterprise engineering, capital project execution, and maintenance strategy across multiple manufacturing operations. Direct large-scale capital investments to ensure safe delivery within approved budgets while establishing engineering standards that promote regulatory compliance and operational excellence. Partner with business leaders to identify investment opportunities improving productivity, reliability, and cost performance. Build high-performing technical teams through succession planning and coaching, fostering a culture centered on safety, innovation, and continuous improvement. Evaluate emerging automation technologies and assess feasibility for new equipment to optimize manufacturing systems and facility infrastructure. Develop long-range engineering strategies supporting business growth and drive continuous improvement initiatives across locations. Ensure all activities meet safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements while overseeing capital budgets and resource allocation. Requires 12+ years of progressive engineering leadership in manufacturing, with 50% travel to support multiple sites.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent combination of education and professional experience)
- 12+ years of progressive engineering leadership within a manufacturing environment
- Proven success leading managers and developing high-performing technical organizations
- Significant experience overseeing multiple large-scale capital projects from planning through execution
- Previous experience in engineering project management or capital program leadership
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (such as SAP) and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong executive communication, presentation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50% to support multiple manufacturing locations
