Job Summary
Identify prospective donors and funding sources with faculty and staff to develop cultivation and solicitation plans. Ensure regular communications and stewardship with donors, including re-solicitations, acknowledgments, reporting, and visits. Maintain collaboration with colleagues in medical departments, other schools, and central development to achieve fundraising goals. Document all contacts, communications, and proposals in Raiser's Edge. Manage the Medical Alumni Association and engage Miller School Parents to solicit gifts. Demonstrate progress toward campaign goals and reach departmental yearly cash fundraising targets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Seven (7) years of demonstrated successful experience in fundraising and fundraising management
- preferably in higher education or health care
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
