Job Summary
Sr. Director of Data & Insights to lead Analytics Engineering, Data Science, and Product Analytics, setting strategy, driving cross-functional alignment, and delivering a step-change in data-enabled decision-making for Monopoly GO!. Responsibilities include defining the data platform vision (pipelines, warehouse, semantic layer), pushing AI-enabled analytics, establishing a data-product mindset, owning the metrics layer as a single source of truth, and maintaining a strategic relationship with central data functions. You will manage three Director/Lead reports and roughly 40+ analysts, engineers, and data scientists; set data roadmaps and OKRs; build data-literacy programs for self-serve capabilities; and lead AI-driven insights delivery while ensuring rigor and scalability. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in data, strong leadership experience, expertise in the modern data stack (dbt, Snowflake/BigQuery, Looker/Tableau/Hex), fluency with AI tooling and LLM patterns, and a track record in live-service mobile games or high-scale consumer apps. Must communicate effectively from SQL to C-suite and English-language résumé required.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in data, analytics, or data science
- 5+ years managing director-level leaders
- Proven track record in live-service mobile games or high-scale consumer apps
- Deep expertise in the modern data stack: dbt, Snowflake/BigQuery, Looker/Tableau/Hex
- Hands-on fluency with LLM patterns (RAG, agents, prompt engineering) and AI tooling deployment
- Strong command of experimentation design, causal inference, and ML systems in production
- Leads through delegation — comfortable owning strategy and outcomes without owning execution
- Exceptional communicator from SQL to C-suite; player-first and outcome-first mindset
