Job Summary
Provide strategic direction, design, implementation, and communication for enterprise-wide compensation and recognition policy and plans. Oversee the design, development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs including market pricing, base pay, commissions, annual merit, benchmarking, and short/long-term incentive plans to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness. Lead a compensation team, partner with HR and business leaders to develop job descriptions and classifications, review market data, and propose updates to salary structures and bonus targets. Ensure compliance with government regulations (e.g., FLSA) and prepare reports for internal/external use, including Board materials. Participate in M&A activity and budget development. Travel domestically as appropriate. Requires Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 15+ years of related experience; 5+ years in senior HR leadership within compensation; preferred GRP/CCP/CEBS/CBP certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 15+ years of related experience in compensation and recognition programs
- At least 5 years as a senior level HR executive or equivalent leadership in compensation
- Demonstrated success in negotiating, organizing, planning, problem-solving, and partnering among multiple complex priorities
- Thorough subject matter expertise with knowledge of accounting/financial concepts, tax and accounting treatment, SEC regulations and filings, proxy disclosures, FASB, Internal Revenue Code
