Job Summary

Set the long-term vision and multi-year strategy for eBay's global compensation programs, ensuring the compensation philosophy differentiates the company in competitive talent markets. Drive the design, implementation, communication, and continuous improvement of these programs globally while serving as an enterprise thought leader on translating external trends and regulations into actionable business recommendations. Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives and cross-functional partners to balance business priorities with employee experience, leading annual and mid-year compensation planning, strategic new hire compensation, and retention initiatives. Establish and maintain compensation governance, including decision rights, approval frameworks, and audit readiness, while leveraging analytics, market benchmarks, and pay equity insights to guide strategy and ensure compliance with global legal and regulatory developments. Build and coach a high-performing global team of compensation partners, manage M&A due diligence, and lead broader Total Rewards initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience designing, managing, and evolving compensation programs in complex, global organizations
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
