Job Summary
Senior-level Brand Marketing Director responsible for culturally-driven strategy and storytelling in sneaker/basketball/streetwear spaces. Leads development and execution of integrated campaigns, partnerships, activations, and influencer programs; oversees social media and content creation; collaborates across merchandising, creative, digital, and marketing teams; builds and mentors a high-performing team; tracks KPIs and uses analytics to optimize performance. Based in NYC with a hybrid in-office schedule (Tue–Thu).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in brand marketing
- 5+ years leading teams
- Strong background in culturally driven consumer brands, preferably within sports, fashion, footwear, or streetwear industries
- Proven success developing impactful marketing campaigns, partnerships, influencer programs, and experiential activations
- Deep understanding of basketball culture, sneaker culture, and emerging consumer trends
- Exceptional storytelling, communication, and leadership capabilities
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional collaboration within fast-paced, matrixed organizations
- Success in this role: building collaborative high-performing marketing organization; creating culturally resonant campaigns; driving growth in brand awareness, loyalty, and community engagement
