Job Summary
Conduct in-depth analysis to identify root causes of client barriers and develop innovative, actionable insights that drive strategy forward. Deliver provocative market predictions and research findings to clients via virtual or face-to-face interactions, while creating high-value presentation materials for Gartner events and conferences. Lead the Insights team by establishing thought leadership positions, mentoring junior analysts, and collaborating with peers to refine research processes and drive innovation. Support sales efforts by serving as the voice of the market to help Insights teams create content that aligns with client priorities and accelerates business growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience
- Expertise in data architecture and data operations
- Expertise in database or data integration practices
- Experience in AI-ready data management approaches
- Experience with using agents in data management processes
- Executive presence; ability to immediately establish credibility with executives and additional stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills; ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high quality deliverables
- Excellence in research and writing ability
- Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical and presentation skills; ability to engage clients and respond effectively to questions
- Proficiency in analyzing and synthesizing data; ability to effectively apply patterns and frameworks while drawing and defending conclusions to client challenges
- Strong communication skills - ability to explain complex concepts concisely and simply
- Subject matter expertise; comfort presenting at large and small-scale speaking engagements
- Business and financial acumen
- Deep knowledge of the global and competitive landscape within subject area as well as the interplay in that market
- Ability to work independently, while also being intrinsically motivated to collaborate across teams and support the workflow of others, in a multicultural global team
- Ability to represent Gartner's research methodology and strategies effectively at all levels
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%
