Job Summary
Senior Director, CIO Insights leading creation of highly leveraged, must-have insights content; develop new insights through thought leadership; conduct in-depth analysis to identify root causes of client needs; shape and advance Gartner's research agenda; mentor junior team members; support Sales with market voice and content; create high-value presentation materials for Gartner events and client briefings; engage clients via virtual or in-person meetings; travel up to 25%; travel-friendly to collaborate across matrixed, multicultural teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred
- 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience, preferably retail IT experience
- Senior IT leadership experience
- Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and synthesize data; apply patterns and frameworks to client challenges
- Ability to travel up to 25% (where applicable)
- Ability to present at large and small-scale speaking engagements
- Subject matter expertise; comfortable presenting Gartner insights and methodology
