Job Summary
Senior Direct Support Professional responsible for light housekeeping, personal care (feeding, medication administration, bathing, toileting), transportation to doctor’s appointments and activities, behavioral and social support, and supervising a residential home (including possible sleepover shifts). Supports residents with disabilities, assists the Residential Supervisor with assigned duties, and works within a team to promote safety and well-being. Requires a High School Diploma/G.E.D., valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, ability to lift 50 lbs, and prior caregiving experience. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/G.E.D.
- Valid Driver’s License with 2 years of consecutive driving experience and less than 3 moving violations within the past 36 months
- Ability to pass pre-employment background/physical/TB/drug screenings
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. as needed
- Previous direct support/caregiving experience and/or experience working with individuals with disabilities
