Job Summary
Senior Director, OPRA Market Data at Cboe Global Markets overseeing the OPRA Plan and serving as Managing Director. Responsibilities include executing administrative and operational functions for the OPRA Plan, acting as confidential agent for Member Participants, chairing OPRA/Management Committee meetings, facilitating OPRA System management, onboarding data subscribers and distributors, managing strategic relationships with exchanges and regulators (including SEC), overseeing AP/AR/GL functions, and leading a team. Ideal candidate has expert knowledge of market data principles, ability to explain OPRA policies to exchanges and regulators, experience analyzing data usage scenarios for licensing/fees, hands-on experience with AI techniques for efficiency and analysis, working knowledge of financial applications (Great Plains, Business Central), and extensive experience (7+ years with regulators, 10+ years managing clients/external relationships, 10+ years of management, 12+ years in financial market data/derivatives). Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics or related field required
- Master's degree preferred
- 7+ years of experience working with regulatory agencies
- 10+ years of management and people leadership experience
- 12+ years of financial market data and derivatives industry experience
- Thorough knowledge of Salesforce application is preferred
