Job Summary
Senior Director of FP&A responsible for leading budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis; partners with executives to develop financial strategy, drive growth opportunities, and improve corporate performance; oversees a high-performing FP&A team, ensures accurate financial reporting, and leads continuous improvement of processes, tools, and analytics; requires strong communication with non-financial stakeholders and experience with ERP/FP&A software.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive FP&A experience
- Proven experience leading and managing FP&A teams
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis skills
- Excellent communication skills for presenting to non-financial stakeholders
- Preferred MBA or Finance Master’s degree
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or CMA
- Experience in senior financial leadership roles within technology, manufacturing, or services industries
- Advanced proficiency with financial planning software and ERP systems (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan, SAP)
- Ability to drive strategic initiatives and change management
- Ability to mentor and develop FP&A professionals
- Strong leadership and collaboration abilities
- Ability to present results to executive leadership and stakeholders
