Job Summary
Sr DevOps / Systems Engineer in Naples, Italy. Responsibilities include Kubernetes operations (install/configure/maintain clusters on-prem/cloud), cluster lifecycle management (upgrades, scaling, monitoring, troubleshooting), implementing components like ingress controllers and storage integrations, and ensuring high availability. Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions; automate deployments and environment provisioning; integrate testing, security scanning, and quality gates. Use Terraform, Helm, and related IaC tools to define infrastructure; automate repetitive tasks with Bash or Python; maintain version-controlled configurations. Deploy and manage monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager); perform root-cause analysis and optimize performance. Manage Linux-based systems and collaborate with development teams on containerization/deployment best practices; participate in on-site operational activities and incident response. Hybrid work model with in-person and remote collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools and pipeline design
- Solid understanding of container technologies (Docker, containerd)
- Experience with Terraform, Helm, and GitOps workflows
- Good scripting skills in Bash or Python
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
- Strong Linux systems engineering background
