Job Summary
Architect, deliver, and maintain critical cloud platform components on AWS EKS, including Terraform modules, managed RDS instances, ingress controllers, and TLS automation. Establish SLO/SLI tracking frameworks, automate error budget monitoring, and build tooling to reduce operational friction. Architect OpenTelemetry capture pipelines and provide specialized code reviews, pull-request assessments, and technical architecture recommendations. Develop reusable platform patterns, automated CI/CD tooling, and Global Runbooks with SOPs for regional coordination. Participate in post-incident technical reviews to ensure production reliability and automated resilience.
Required Qualifications
- Deep expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) operating on AWS EKS, RDS, ingress controllers, TLS certificate automation, in addition to implementing cloud cost/capacity tuning
- Proven track record defining SLOs/SLIs, establishing error budget frameworks, and building automation to drive down system toil
- Hands-on experience designing and operating OpenTelemetry collection and routing pipelines
- Fluent professional English communication skills for effective cross-border async collaboration and code review advisory
- Must be registered with the SAT (e.g., RESICO or Persona Física con Actividad Empresarial) and issue valid CFDI invoices uploaded through Rippling
