Sr. DevOps Engineer - OpenShift & CI/CD

Job Summary
Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines across Native Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift environments using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Pipeline-as-Code. Manage deployment workflows with ArgoCD, develop Jenkins Shared Libraries and Groovy scripting, and enforce GitOps practices. Collaborate with engineering teams to automate build, deployment, and release processes while supporting development, testing, staging, and production environments. Implement Service Mesh solutions, secure microservice communication, and maintain enterprise logging and monitoring via ELK Stack, Prometheus, and Grafana. Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and drive platform reliability initiatives within Agile/DevOps frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Strong experience with Jenkins
- Experience developing Jenkins Shared Libraries
- Strong understanding of Pipeline-as-Code
- Hands-on experience with Groovy scripting for Jenkins automation
- Strong hands-on experience with GitHub Actions
- Strong hands-on experience with Native Kubernetes
- Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift administration and deployments
- Experience deploying and managing containerized applications across Kubernetes/OpenShift environments
- Strong understanding of container-based application deployment and orchestration
- Practical experience with GitOps methodologies
- Hands-on experience with ArgoCD or similar GitOps tools
- Understanding of automated, declarative application deployment and environment management
- Practical hands-on experience with Service Mesh technologies
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture
- Strong understanding of microservice authentication and authorization processes
- Understanding of secure service-to-service communication
- Strong understanding of enterprise logging and monitoring solutions
- Hands-on experience with ELK Stack
- Hands-on experience with Prometheus
- Hands-on experience with Grafana
- Ability to troubleshoot application and platform issues using logs, metrics, and monitoring dashboards
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work across development, testing, operations, security, and infrastructure teams
- Strong understanding of enterprise DevOps practices and automation
- Ability to manage multiple environments and deployment pipelines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Strong ownership of production stability, deployment quality, and continuous improvement
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Agile/DevOps environment
