Job Summary
Senior DevOps Engineer II with ownership of edge proxy platform, Terraform/Terragrunt-driven multi-region AWS EKS infrastructure, and GovCloud/FedRAMP operations. Remote from Bulgaria. Responsibilities include maintaining high-performance reverse proxy, IaC, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, observability via Datadog, on-call ownership, security-focused automation, and collaboration across cross-functional teams. Emphasis on AI-enhanced tooling adoption and ensuring compliant, scalable production environments. Proven experience across multi-region deployments, GovCloud integration, and enterprise-grade CI/CD and security practices.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Terraform/Terragrunt proficiency
- Kubernetes expertise including EKS and Helm
- AWS networking and container services (EKS, ALB/NLB, VPC, IAM, ECR, Route53, CloudWatch, EventBridge)
- Go or Python proficiency for tooling
- Reverse proxies/API gateways/load balancers experience
- CI/CD design and maintenance (GitLab CI preferred)
- Container image security practices
- Strong on-call/incident response experience
- Clear communication and collaboration skills
- Documentation of sensitive operational information
- AI workflow experience for infra/code (1 year)
- Fluency in English
- Legal eligibility to work in Bulgaria
