Job Summary
Lead production-ready Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift implementations while managing system integration for multi-client applications across the private cloud. Execute full migration and upgrade cycles, maintain application and server availability through coordination with SysAdmins, and perform technical troubleshooting for managed environments and database incidents. Update technical documentation and the team knowledge base to ensure alignment with evolving infrastructure standards. Requires 5+ years of DevOps experience with Linux/Unix administration, CI/CD pipelines, and distributed data platforms. This role supports the core lifecycle management of the company's software product suite designed to accelerate secure, reliable modern application delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ year of Experience in DevOps
- Solid background in Linux/Unix Administration
- Previous experience with OpenShift implementations & integrations
- Kubernetes
- Docker
- OpenShift
- Technical knowledge in IT infrastructure technologies (DNS, Proxy) and connectivity techniques
- Experience with Service Oriented Architectures (SOA)
- Experience implementing CI/CD
- Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
- Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Flexible, innovative, and analytical thinking; strong problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with configuration management tools preferred in Saltstack, Ansible
- Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and cloud services
- Familiar with distributed data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, and ElasticSearch)
- Familiar with open-source monitoring systems (Prometheus, Sensu, NewRelic, and Splunk)
- Knowledge of JavaScript and node.js is a plus
- Software or Web development skills are a plus
- Up to date on the latest industry trends
