Job Summary
Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, developing complex automation scripts and tooling to meet evolving application and infrastructure requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues arising from the integration of DevOps tools, ensuring pipelines adhere to deployment standards, security controls, and monitoring guidelines. Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and infrastructure teams to design resilient application platforms and evolve DevOps workflows. Take ownership of application deployment strategies and platform reliability, while participating in follow-the-sun operations to ensure stability across multiple regions. Mentor junior engineers and drive high levels of collaboration across shifts. Requires 5–7+ years of experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure), automation tools (Terraform, Docker), and scripting languages (Go, Python). Full-time role with pre-employment background checks required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 5–7+ years of total professional experience in software engineering, DevOps, site reliability, or platform engineering roles
- Prior experience as a Software Developer, with a strong understanding of application architecture and development best practices
- Programming experience in any programming language (C#, GoLang, Java)
- Deep, hands‐on experience with DevOps principles and automation across the full software delivery lifecycle
- Proven expertise in designing, building, and supporting complex, production‐grade systems in cloud or hybrid environments
- Strong track record of technical ownership, sound decision‐making, and accountability for outcomes
- Experience working effectively in distributed or global teams, collaborating across time zones
- Hands-on experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Chef, Ansible, SCCM, LanDesk, Docker, Terraform, and Packer
- A working understanding of code and script (Powershell, .Net, Python, Ruby, AngularJs, NodeJs, and/or Go)
