Job Summary
Senior Device Engineer responsible for confirming that medical devices and drug/device combination products meet their intended function. Develop data through engineering studies and test reports to support product submissions; define test methods, develop protocols, perform data analysis, and write reports in compliance with SOPs. Partner with systems engineers to define verifiable product requirements; develop test fixtures/methods; coordinate with internal/external partners for samples and aging studies; ensure data integrity per SOPs; develop verification plans and test strategies; perform technical writing and statistical analyses; conduct root cause analysis and provide actionable recommendations. Potential project-team leadership including MS Project scheduling and cross-functional coordination; familiarity with GMP, statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP), and mentoring junior members. Hybrid work location in Parsippany, NJ with base salary $82,700–$137,900 plus eligibility for a 10% performance bonus; relocation may be available based on business needs; U.S. visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 2+ years of experience; OR Master's degree with 0+ years of experience; OR Associate's degree with 6 years of experience; OR high school diploma (or equivalent) and 8 years of relevant experience
