Job Summary
Senior-level Sr. Desktop Support Analyst providing hands-on and remote desktop, mobile, and application support to attorneys and professional staff both on-site in San Francisco and for remote staff. Responsibilities include direct user support for OS, connectivity and application issues; hardware diagnostics and repair coordination; 2nd-level software escalations; remote access support (Windows 365, Citrix, VPN); hardware procurement and inventory management; software compatibility assessments and installation/maintenance of practice-specific applications; mentoring team members; planning and executing hardware installations, imaging, upgrades, and replacements; capacity planning for hardware inventory; gathering and analyzing end-user feedback to improve support processes; acting as liaison with other IT teams; collaborating on IT infrastructure installations and maintenance; translating user requests into formal documentation; engaging end users in a consultative capacity; maintaining vendor relationships and asset management; on-call rotation; primary contact for server-room issues and related hardware installation/removal. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
- Two or more years knowledge and experience troubleshooting and working with Microsoft Windows and Office Suite including legal specific applications add-ons, including document management experience and handheld technologies
- Ability to effectively and professionally communicate and collaborate with all levels of the organization
- Basic network administrative experience with Microsoft Active Directory; SCCM and FIM knowledge a plus
- Experience with connectivity and application troubleshooting with Windows 365, Citrix and VPN
- Experience with desktop operating system managed environments and integration points with Microsoft Office and other legal applications
- Experience with Cisco IP Telephony is a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot issues with Apple and Android mobile devices
