Job Summary
Senior Designer to support Sony Pictures Television Studios’ franchise and marketing needs with high-volume, high-quality entertainment marketing and franchise creative across social, digital, AV, and experiential touchpoints. Responsibilities include creating key art systems, social graphics, title treatments, promotional graphics, merchandise concepts, event graphics, and platform assets; collaborating with leadership, franchise teams, social, AV, production, and marketing stakeholders; guiding freelancers and external partners; and ensuring assets are production-ready across print, digital, social, and AV formats. Strong emphasis on typography, composition, color, and visual storytelling within entertainment marketing; proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and After Effects preferred; portfolio must demonstrate experience with entertainment campaigns, franchise/IP marketing, and high-volume creative across multiple formats.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of professional entertainment design experience within streaming, television, studios, agencies, or related creative environments
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in entertainment key art systems
- Experience in social campaign graphics, logo design and title treatments
- Event/promotional graphics, billboard and digital campaign creative
- AV graphic packages, merchandise/promotional design
- Franchise/IP marketing creative
- Expert-level typography, composition, layout, color theory, retouching, image compositing
- Strong understanding of how entertainment marketing translates across social, streaming, franchise, licensing, promotional, and experiential ecosystems
- Ability to generate multiple creative options quickly with high polish
- Ability to work independently and drive projects from concept through final execution with minimal oversight
- Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Asset preparation and production-friendly deliverables across digital, print, social, experiential, and AV formats
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); After Effects preferred
- Knowledge of social-first creative formats and platform-native design execution
- Experience in motion graphics and AV finishing workflows preferred
- Experience designing promotional merchandise and event graphics
- Passion for television, entertainment marketing, fandom culture, and emerging trends
- Experience working in fast-paced entertainment environments and collaboration with cross-functional teams
