Job Summary
Senior Designer lead General Arrangement design for industrial facilities (including seed production, grain handling, milling, oilseed extraction, and ethanol facilities). Develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), equipment lists, and design documentation; mentor and lead teams; collaborate with engineers, vendors, and clients to define scope, schedules, and budgets; ensure safety, quality, and compliance with applicable codes (OSHA, MSHA, NFPA, etc.); integrate new technologies and drive continuous improvement; travel up to 15% for project sites and coordination.
Required Qualifications
- 2 or 4-year degree from college or technical school in structural, architectural, electrical, or mechanical drafting or design
- Minimum of 10 years of industry experience
- Ability to work in a cross functional team environment, and communicate clearly
- Experience in equipment commissioning and startup is beneficial
