Job Summary
Define and establish reliability requirements for Rivian products from concept through production by collaborating with Attribute, Warranty, Design, and Product Line teams. Develop reliability models to predict performance and cascade targets to sub-system and component levels. Analyze warranty claims, field returns, and in-service data to measure product performance against design targets and identify areas for reliability growth. Support voice of customer vehicle testing to assess hardware and software integration robustness. This role requires a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and experience with FMEAs, large data analysis tools, and statistical software like JMP or ReliaSoft. Salary ranges from $146,900 to $183,600 for California-based applicants.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- one or more years of industry experience in a reliability engineering role
- strong technical background and interest in reliability
- Experience with facilitating FMEAs and leading cross functional teams
- Experience with large data analysis tools
- Working knowledge of reliability statistical methods
- Working knowledge of a coding language, preferably Python
- Working knowledge of statistical software for reliability, such as JMP or the ReliaSoft suite
