Job Summary
Develop and maintain the department master plan, technology roadmap, and organizational strategy aligned with corporate and SDV business objectives. Lead advanced engineering activities in ADAS, High Performance Computing, Artificial Intelligence, and Cross-Domain Systems while establishing global collaboration frameworks with Astemo Japan. Build organizational structures, talent acquisition strategies, and multimillion-dollar budget management processes to support future business growth. Drive customer engagement with North American OEMs, manage strategic partnerships with technology vendors, and resolve personnel development and retention challenges. Provide strategic oversight for production ADAS programs and mentor engineering leaders to foster organizational development. Ensure compliance with corporate policies, intellectual property requirements, and export control regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or related engineering field
- Minimum 15 years of applicable experience in automotive engineering, advanced technology development, ADAS, software-defined vehicle systems, or related fields
- Minimum 7 years of leadership experience managing engineering teams, technology organizations, or business units
- Required to sit or stand for long periods of time
- The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
