Job Summary
The Sr. Data Scientist will solve technical, data-driven Healthcare problems using statistical methods and predictive modeling. Responsibilities include collaborating with engineering, product management, and operational teams to design and implement machine learning systems, translating real-world problems into mathematical frameworks, and conducting data exploration and hypothesis testing. Required skills include familiarity with various machine learning techniques, competency in programming languages and SQL, and exceptional analytical and communication skills, requiring a Master of Science degree or higher.
Required Qualifications
- Complete familiarity with statistical and machine learning techniques
- Demonstrated competency in R/Python predictive modeling
- Demonstrated competency in RDBMS (e.g. SQL Server)
- Ability to code in 1+ general purpose programming languages (C#, Java, etc.)
- Outstanding presentation abilities
- Comfortable working in ambiguous areas
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and writing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
