Job Summary
Senior Machine Learning and Data Engineer on Skyworks' AI/ML team in Irvine, CA. Lead and contribute to ML/ DL projects across design automation, yield prediction, anomaly detection, and device modeling. Own end-to-end ML pipeline from data acquisition to deployment and monitoring. Collaborate with design engineers, process experts, and product owners to translate problems into ML solutions and deliver both research prototypes and production deployments. Requires a BS with 8 years of experience (PhD preferred) and strong Python and ML framework proficiency (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn). Familiarity with ML techniques for semiconductor/Electrical domains and data infrastructure concepts is desirable. Salary range is USD 114,400 - 220,200 per year; comprehensive benefits described.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics or related field plus 8 years experience (PhD preferred)
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn
- Strong theoretical and practical experience in machine learning and deep learning, including CNNs, transformers, time-series models, or probabilistic methods
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
