Job Summary
Senior Data Scientist on Roku's Core Analytics team supporting UI Originals initiatives. Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to understand user behavior, measure impact of experiences, and generate data-informed recommendations. Design, execute, and interpret A/B tests; develop and maintain dashboards and data visualizations to monitor key metrics; analyze structured and unstructured data to uncover trends; build data pipelines for automation, validation, and reporting; perform exploratory data analysis on emerging Roku platform trends; present clear narratives and actionable insights to leadership and partner teams; partner with Engineering and Program Management to continuously improve solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in quantitative fields such as Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science; a bachelor's or master's degree in one of these fields
- 5+ years of experience in consumer products, digital media, entertainment, or related industries
- Strong SQL skills and experience with programming languages such as Python, R, SAS
- Hands-on experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Looker
- Hands-on experience with A/B testing, statistical modeling, or forecasting
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and communicate insights to leadership
- Experience developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and data pipelines
- Experience analyzing structured and unstructured data to uncover insights
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
