Job Summary
Senior Data Scientist II to own and scale world-class bidding algorithms for DV Scibids, evaluating and improving optimization algorithms, designing and testing new products/features, and working with massive ad-impression datasets. Role includes production-environment operations, end-to-end product development in agile teams, automated deployments (Infra-As-Code), code reviews, system design, and mentoring of mid-level engineers. Requires a Masters in applied mathematics and 3+ years of programming experience; familiarity with DevOps tools (Git, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes) and Cloud environments. Salary ranges between €56,000-€101,000 (converted to USD here for annualized compensation).
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in applied mathematics (e.g. machine learning, statistics, probabilities, operations research)
- 3+ years of programming experience (Python, C++, C# or similar)
- Experience with DevOps domain - Git, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Cloud environments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Mentoring to mid-level engineers
- Passion for automation and data-driven decisions
- Familiarity with AdTech challenges is a plus
