Job Summary
Senior data scientist on Gartner's GSSO Territory Planning & Analytics team. Role focuses on designing optimal territory investment and alignment strategies to maximize sales productivity, collaborating with sales leaders to guide strategic investment and go-to-market decisions. Responsibilities include building and evaluating LLM/AI systems, monitoring model performance, owning and optimizing algorithms, ensuring scalability and documentation, and mentoring junior data scientists on chatbot development and LLM applications. Requires strong ML/AI background, extensive Python experience, and cloud/ML tooling expertise. Hybrid work environment in Gurgaon, India.
Required Qualifications
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field (focus on ML/AI, Information Retrieval a plus)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience building conversational AI systems, chatbots, LLM applications, or other advanced ML/AI solutions
- Minimum 4+ years of Python coding and statistical analysis
- Experience with LLMs, Generative AI, NLP, and related areas
- Experience with cloud services (AWS or Azure ML)
- Proficiency with Python, ML tools (scikit-learn, spaCy, NLTK), SQL/NoSQL databases, Spark, Linux
- Strong problem-solving and ability to translate business objectives into actionable data science tasks
- Ability to document and ensure code reusability
- Mentor junior data scientists on chatbot development and LLM applications
Desired Qualifications
