Job Summary
Sr. Data Scientist to plan and conduct data science projects that enable advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and data-driven decision-making. Partner with engineering and business teams to productionize models and embed them into enterprise applications and workflows. Ensure robust, reliable, and governed advanced analytics solutions aligned with enterprise architecture and responsible AI/ML principles. Responsibilities include conducting advanced data analysis, identifying relevant data sources, analyzing data patterns, defining data quality expectations with data stewards, and recommending method/algorithm improvements. Requires 8–12 years of experience (or Master’s degree with 6 or PhD with 2), advanced degree in a related field, proficiency in R/Python/SAS, solid statistical techniques, and experience with ML algorithms; cloud certifications preferred. Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India; full-time role under Fresenius Medical Care’s data science initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field
- 8–12 years of related experience; or Master’s degree with 6 years; or PhD with 2 years; or equivalent directly related work experience
- Solid knowledge of statistical techniques
- Experience using machine learning algorithms
- Proficiency in statistical packages (e.g., R, Python, SAS)
- Cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure) preferred
