Job Summary
Senior-level data engineering role designing and delivering data technology solutions, building and optimizing data pipelines, and collaborating across Operations, Technology, PMO, Product, and Insights to enable actionable insights and support next-generation digital products and strategies. Responsibilities include analyzing data warehouse and reporting requirements, designing scalable ETL/ELT processes and data access models, delivering high-quality code, participating in QA testing of data pipelines, and driving continuous improvements in data platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar discipline
- 5+ years of experience in software/data engineering
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js, Node.js, and Python
- Experience with backend frameworks like Express.js, Django, or FastAPI
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture
- Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience with big data platforms e.g. Snowflake, Databricks
- Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes
- Experience building and optimizing ‘big data’ data pipelines, architectures, and data sets
- Experience with AWS cloud services – Athena, QuickSight, Kinesis, Lambda, IAM Policies
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools e.g. Airflow
- Experience with Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
- Working knowledge in Media or Ad domain
