Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows to build and optimize ingestion, transformation, and integration processes. Develop and maintain data models, data lakes, and data warehouse solutions while collaborating with stakeholders to support reporting and AI initiatives. Implement data quality, governance, security, and monitoring frameworks to optimize processing performance and cost efficiency across structured and unstructured enterprise data. Work with cloud-based data platforms and modern analytics architectures using AWS, Python, PySpark, or Scala. Requires 5+ years of experience; U.S. citizens or Green Card holders only. Remote position.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizens or Lawful Permanent Residents (Green Card Holders) only
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
- Strong SQL development and performance tuning skills
- Experience with Python, PySpark, or Scala
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms preferably AWS
- Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines using modern data engineering tools
- Experience with data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Synapse, or Databricks
- Experience with Apache Spark and distributed data processing
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and security best practices
Desired Qualifications
- Databricks, Delta Lake, or Lakehouse architectures
- Airflow, dbt, or similar orchestration tools
- Experience supporting AI/ML and analytics workloads
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or Databricks)
- Experience working in large enterprise environments
