Job Summary
The Sr. Data Engineer will enhance and maintain a data platform for execution and operations research within the trading department, collaborating with Quantitative Trading Strategists, designing and building data pipelines, and ensuring reliable data capture and monitoring.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in a data intensive field
- Experience with Python, KDB/Q or other programming languages
- Experience working with large data sets
- Experience with data visualization
- Equity and fixed income quantitative background
- Market structure knowledge
- Experience with trading processes and/or transaction cost analysis
