Job Summary
Mid to Senior Data Engineer to join CrowdStrike's Cloud Identity & Perimeter team, designing and maintaining high-performance, distributed data pipelines that process billions of records daily for identity analytics and security insights. You will architect data transformations with Apache Spark for large-scale batch and stream processing, build real-time streaming solutions with Kafka, develop scalable ETL processes, optimize data models for security queries, and collaborate with product, customers, and sales to deliver impactful security features. The role involves working in Tel Aviv, Israel, with a hybrid in-office/remote schedule and a focus on securing enterprise identities and security analytics at scale.
Required Qualifications
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or similar roles
- Strong programming skills in Go and/or Java
- Extensive experience with big data technologies (Apache Spark, Kafka)
- Experience with distributed databases (Cassandra, Elasticsearch)
- Experience building and maintaining production-grade data pipelines
- Strong understanding of data modeling and optimization techniques
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- BS/MS or equivalent in CS or related field
