Job Summary
Senior Data Analyst leads critical APCD data submission activities for the Risk Adjustment Department, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of APCD submissions and RI EOHHS encounter data submissions. Develops and automates reconciliation and reporting processes using SQL, SAS, Alteryx, and Tableau; collaborates with IT, data engineering, and external stakeholders; supports regulatory audits and change management relating to state specifications. Requires advanced SQL, healthcare data knowledge preferred, and the ability to translate analyses into actionable insights for leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred
- 5–7 years of experience in progressively responsible analytical and data management roles
- Experience healthcare or health insurance sector
- Advanced SQL proficiency
- Healthcare data knowledge preferred
- Experience with regulatory data submissions, APCD submissions a plus
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with SAS, Alteryx, Tableau; knowledge of X12 transactions a plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Hybrid role with onsite one day per week in Canton, MA
