Job Summary
Design scalable data models from the data lake to power financial forecasting, budgeting, and ad-hoc analysis. Develop and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval, transformation, and analysis, while building, launching, and maintaining automated executive-ready BI dashboards using Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker. Partner with Sales Operations, Data Engineering, and Product teams to align disparate data sources into a single source of truth for Finance, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data used for board meetings, investor relations, and regulatory reporting. Collaborate on data pipelines to support automation and process improvements. This role requires 3 to 5 years of experience in data analytics or financial analytics within a B2B SaaS environment and involves working independently with advanced SQL skills.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or financial analytics, ideally within a B2B SaaS environment
- Advanced SQL skills
- Ability to write complex, optimized queries
- Ability to handle window functions
- Ability to manage large-scale data manipulation
- Experience with modern data stacks including cloud-based databases
- Hands on experience with data warehousing tools (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
- Proven ability to build and manage data pipelines independently, from ingestion to reporting
- Proven excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Active U.S. Citizenship or green card holder residing in the U.S. for a minimum of 3 consecutive years
- Working location is in the U.S.
- Must be able to sit for long periods
- Must be able to handle long periods of screen time
- Reliable, high speed internet
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency in Python or R for advanced statistical analysis and predictive modeling
