Job Summary
Sr. Customs Analyst based in PetSmart's Phoenix Home Office hybrid role (minimum four days in office weekly with up to one remote flex day). Responsible for supporting daily compliance with Canada, Puerto Rico and U.S. import requirements to ensure conformity with Customs and PGA regulations. Key duties include communicating with cross-functional teams, monitoring shipment and compliance issues, supporting PGA processes and data tracking, overseeing HTSUS/HTSCA and program certificates (e.g., USMCA), conducting pre-/post-entry audits, generating and analyzing reports, and coordinating customs-related activities. Requires a bachelor’s degree (preferred) and 2+ years in import/export compliance, with proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent program preferred
- 2+ years of experience in import/export compliance preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint and SAP
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with exports/imports, HTSUS/HTSCA, and PGA code management
