Job Summary
Sr Customer Development Rep for HSBC International Wealth and Premier Banking (IWPB) drives Premier Acquisition and acquires new-to-bank clients through central or self-generated leads, delivering high-quality service to top-tier personal clients. Responsibilities include implementing Premier Acquisition strategies, developing strong cross-functional relationships (e.g., WPB, Marketing), and achieving basic retail sales targets while maintaining customer satisfaction. The role requires expertise in deposits, WEM products, mortgage, and regulatory knowledge, with proven sales skills, presentation abilities, and the ability to work under pressure. Bilingual Chinese and English capabilities are reflected in the role descriptions for both global and local client engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of one year proven and progressive financial services and/or retail sales experience or equivalent
- Strong presentation and sales skills
- Objection handling techniques and ability to work under pressure
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer service orientation
- Attain appropriate professional and regulatory qualifications as required by market
- Attain internal standards as required by HSBC
