Job Summary
Senior-level role focusing on deepening customer relationships and driving account growth and profitability for assigned customers. Responsibilities include acting as primary point of contact for accounts, expanding wallet share by selling Kenco’s services, leading business reviews with customers, collaborating across the organization to design solutions, ensuring on-time fulfillment and KPIs, and maintaining accurate data in the Transportation Management System. Requires strategic thinking, strong communication with executive-level stakeholders, data-driven decision making, and ability to manage cross-functional projects from account plans to contract proposals. Travel may be required for customer site visits; role emphasizes end-to-end account management, retention, and value delivery within a logistics/3PL context.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in logistics and/or supply chain management required
- 3-5 years of experience in account/solutions management of third-party logistics, with a focus on transportation solutions, preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience managing negotiations, handling simple legal matters, and setting up service contracts with financial awareness
- Strong data interpretation, trend-identification, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with strong prioritization, multi-tasking
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; TMS (Mercury Gate) knowledge preferred
