Job Summary
Assess, plan, and evaluate care for patients from adolescence through geriatric while producing sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation. Utilize PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images accurately and ensure department, equipment, and staffing meet JCAHO, ACR, and state licensure requirements. Lead the accreditation process for the specific modality and plan daily patient workloads to accommodate patient volume while covering vacations and sick days. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. This role requires an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology, three years of CT experience, and an ARRT certification, with a focus on safety, vaccinations, and E-Verify compliance within Adventist Health's faith-based, nonprofit system.
Required Qualifications
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT)
- Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Venipuncture (IV) certification
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology
- Three years' CT technologist experience
- Advanced certification in the modality of CT
- Fluoroscopy license
- Venipuncture certification
