Job Summary
Assess, plan, and evaluate care for patients from adolescence through geriatric while producing sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation. Utilize PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images accurately and ensure departmental compliance with JCAHO, ACR, and state licensure standards. Lead accreditation processes for the specific modality and plan daily patient workloads to accommodate staffing needs, including coverage for vacations and sick days. Requires an ARRT (CT) license, three years of CT experience, and BLS certification. Full-time variable shift position with E-Verify participation.
Required Qualifications
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT)
- Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Venipuncture (IV) certification
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology
- Three years' CT technologist experience
- Advanced certification in the modality of CT
- Fluoroscopy license
- Venipuncture certification
