Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients from adolescence through geriatric using CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-section images. Generate sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation and utilize PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images accurately. Ensure departmental compliance with JCAHO, ACR, and state licensure requirements by leading accreditation processes. Plan daily patient workloads to accommodate demand while covering vacations and sick days. Maintain adequate staffing levels and perform other assigned duties. Requires ARRT certification, BLS, and IV certification. Full-time variable shift position at Adventist Health Mendocino County.
Required Qualifications
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT)
- Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Venipuncture (IV) certification
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology
- Three years' CT technologist experience
- Advanced certification in the modality of CT
- Fluoroscopy license
- Venipuncture certification
